Privacy & Security

Understanding how WUCall protects your privacy.

Does WUCall collect my data?

No. WUCall does not collect, transmit, or store any data outside your device.

  • No analytics or tracking
  • No cloud storage
  • No account required
  • No data sent to servers

Everything stays on your phone.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored in a local database on your Android device:

  • Call history
  • Message logs
  • Rules and settings

This data is only accessible to the WUCall app and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Does WUCall work with WhatsApp calls?

No. WUCall only screens regular phone calls (cellular calls). It cannot intercept or screen:

  • WhatsApp calls
  • Telegram calls
  • Signal calls
  • Other VoIP app calls

These apps use internet-based calling which bypasses the phone's call screening system.

Can WUCall read my SMS messages?

No. WUCall only has permission to send SMS messages (for auto-replies). It cannot read your incoming or existing messages.

Is my call history shared with anyone?

No. Your call history is stored only on your device and is never shared with anyone, including us.

How do I delete my data?

Since all data is stored locally, you can delete it by:

  1. Clear app data: Settings > Apps > WUCall > Storage > Clear Data
  2. Uninstall the app: This removes all WUCall data from your device

No request to us is needed since we don't have any of your data.

Is WUCall open source?

For transparency, you can review how WUCall works. Contact us at support@wucall.com for more information about our codebase.
